Hello! 안녕하세요!
Having been raised in a bilingual environment, I not only speak English and Korean fluently, but I also have first-hand knowledge of both American and Korean cultures.
In class, I want to help my students communicate in their target language as quickly as possible. I encourage my students to speak a lot during class and I can efficiently pinpoint your weak areas and help you improve in those areas through focused practice and production.
Every lesson will be tailored to your goals and needs. I thrive on creating a comfortable and productive environment that is conducive to learning and I'll always provide both written and oral feedback during and after class.내 수업 자료

지현 선생님 한국어 수업에 정말 고맙습니다! I have been taking Korean lessons with Jihyun since December 2024 and I have been thoroughly appreciative of her and her teaching style. I am the type of who prefers structure and I enjoy the textbook that she utilizes. Her lessons are a great mix of reading, speaking, and listening. She challenges me and gets me outside of my comfort zone . The one thing that I find so helpful with Jihyun is the fact that she is a native English *and* Korean speaker so she is able to explain grammatical nuances in a way that I can understand. I love to learn but I also want to know the why. She has inspired me to set new goals in my Korean language journey and I’m thankful to have her by my side for it!

Jihyun is the most awesome teacher I've ever met. She understood why I needed a tutor and identified which areas to focus on and practice. We discussed potential interview questions and practiced them together. She is genuinely supportive and encouraging, and I really appreciate her help. I highly recommend J to anyone preparing for business or job interviews.
