Ilse is one of the two best language teachers I've had the pleasure of studying under (including French, Italian, and Spanish teachers). She holds you accountable for your own learning by encouraging you to arrive to the answer yourself rather than just handing you the answer. It pushes me to recall previous material, make mental connections, and I even feel more motivated for self-study so that I am better prepared for each class. Her lessons are fun and she is easy to talk with, I am always surprised at the end that we still cover so much material. She gives the opportunity to ask questions, goes back to material that might be a personal weak spot, without dragging it so that you feel stuck on the same material forever. She has been very understanding, patient, and flexible with me. I really enjoy our lessons together and look forward to our weekly meeting. Muchas gracias Ilse!!

Ilse is the best teacher I can imagine, whether you are starting at zero or you want to improve your Spanish. The lessons are very well prepared and she is always flexible to respond to individual requests spontaneously. She keeps me motivated to continue learning and practicing. today was my third class with Profesora Ilse. I learned so much! The materials she always has prepared (example sentences, homework, preplanned lesson topic, etc) are incredibly helpful. A HUGE point that helps me when I practice speaking during the lessons is that she is able to translate what I'm saying in English which helps me realize where the mistake is. I can understand immediately. I truly feel like I learn a lot after every lesson!

Isle is a wonderful teacher who combines a warm and friendly patience with a diligent and structured approach that has helped me advance more quickly than I thought possible. She identifies weak points and provides a plan for both in an out of class to improve. Her schedule fills up fast, so don’t wait to book a lesson!

Ilsa is a wonderful instructor. I credit her with giving me the courage to really try to speak to people in Spanish and get over my hesitations about making mistakes. She explains things well, and is just a lovely person as an individual.

Profesora Ilse is an awesome teacher. She always has materials and exercises prepared for each lesson that helps me see the grammar in action as she explains it and provides examples. The best part is after she introduces and teaches me the lesson's topic, she even has exercises prepared so I can use it in real time! This helps me A LOT because I am able to see a pattern as I use the learned material. I gain confidence as I see myself using the grammar correctly. She is patient, kind, and nonjudgmental when I make mistakes. I enjoy my lessons with Profesora Ilse!
