Tengo una licenciatura en idiomas y más de 10 años de experiencia como profesora. Disfruto mucho enseñar mi idioma y mi cultura. Me considero amigable, organizada y una ávida lectora. Me gusta hablar sobre temas de actualidad social, cultural y política, así como de películas, viajes, música, etc.

I have a bachelor's degree in languages and more than 10 years of teaching experience. I really enjoy teaching my language and culture. I consider myself friendly, organized and an avid reader. It is clear that Rocio has a lot of teaching experience. Good instructions and materials, and a plan for future lessons. Combine all this with a relaxed and comfortable manner and you get an effective, fun class.
All you could look for in a teacher.

Rocio Amaro is able to slow her speech and speak clearly in Spanish for those who struggle with listening comprehension. She is able to encourage and correct without making the speaker feel discouraged. She is very good at modeling the correct grammatical phrases and provides good support. I recommend her for conversational practice.

Very informative lesson. If you are looking to improve your pronunciation, Rocío is very knowledgeable in phonetics. She assessed my weaknesses and gave me strategies to improve my pronunciation (along with corresponding Powerpoints to practice). Highly recommended!
