Great lesson with Carmen! We talked about "summer vacation" from school and what to do. Carmen explained what she does on vacation - reading, studying, being active. Carmen also told me a funny story about her sister. It was a fun lesson, and Carmen helped me with my pronunciation, and I feel that my pronunciation is improving!

Great lesson with Carmen! Carmen talked about lychee fruit and also all about the dragon boat festival. She made a lot of sentences and explained how to pronounce the key words. As usual, at the end of the lesson Carmen went back and we read all of the sentences again. It's helpful how Carmen does that because it reinforces what we learned!

Great lesson with Carmen! We talked about the traditions in China around the 清明节. Carmen described how people celebrate now, and how it has changed since older times. We reviewed the new words and Carmen made sure I understood and can pronounce them. Carmen's class is fun and low-pressure!

At the end of the lesson we reviewed it all, as we usually do. Carmen helped me with pronunciation of the new words and made sure that I can say them well. It was fun to learn about that advice. Carmen gives a lot of good examples and reviewing the lesson at the end is very effective!
