I’m Agustina, I’m from Argentina and I am a linguist, researcher and teacher of English and Spanish. I teach English Phonology at a Public University in Buenos Aires, where I teach future teachers of English. I’m doing a master’s degree in Language Teaching. I’m also a musician: I sing, I play the piano, the guitar and the Peruvian box drum.
Soy Agustina, soy lingüista por la Universidad de Buenos Aires, investigadora y profe de inglés y español. Además, enseño fonética y fonología inglesas en el profesorado de inglés de la UNPAZ (universidad nacional pública). Estoy haciendo una maestría en lengua extranjera. I have been teaching languages since 2003. I teach all levels of English: beginner, intermediate, advanced, academic, preparation for international exams like TOEFL or IELTS, and I also prepare students who need to sit for Phonology exams. I provide my students with all the materials they need.
Enseño lenguas desde el año 2003 en todos los niveles: principiante, intermedio, avanzado, académico, preparo estudiantes para rendir exámenes internacionales como el TOEFL o el IELTS, y también preparo estudiantes del profesorado que necesiten rendir las materias Fonética y Fonología, Gramática y otras. I’m a specialist in Phonology, so I will provide you with tools to enhance and control your pronunciation, that is, to understand why some words or sounds are more difficult to pronounce than others, considering your native language. I also focus in communication, fluency, grammar and vocabulary: everything is important!
Soy especialista en Fonolgía, lo cual me permite brindarte herramientas para mejorar y controlar tu pronunciación, es decir, para entender mejor por qué algunas palabras o sonidos son más difíciles de pronunciar que otros, según tu lengua materna.
