Marhaba!
My name is Hasan, I'm from Beirut, Lebanon. I have a BA in audio-visual arts and a passion for Arabic literature and linguistics. I worked in the film industry for several years as a writer and director of documentaries and TV ads. I love learning and teaching languages, as I believe they open the doors to new cultures and ideas!
I have a habit (Good? Bad? Dunno 🤷♂️) of always wanting to learn something new and going through novel experiences! My hobbies include playing Oud, the most beautiful Arabic instrument, cycling, pencil sketching, and woodworking.지도 경험
I practiced tutoring since high school and through my first years in university. I have been teaching Arabic online for more than four years to students of all levels, and different backgrounds. I gained lots of experience in how to teach a language and made lots of new friends!내 강의 및 지도 스타일
Sooo, can learning Arabic be fun? Well, it is with me! Don't take my word for it, that's what my students say about classes with me. My classes are pivoted on practicing conversations related to real-life situations, the grammar and vocab will come along naturally then. So don't expect too much boring-university-lecture-style-whiteboard explanations (Man that was a long string of adjectives!). I'll say it again! Hasan is the best!
My original goal was to be conversational in 3-5 years of study. Now, I'm well on course to be more comfortable talking and expressing myself in colloquial Arabic by the end of Summer.
Thanks to Hasan, I've been able to cut my time in half. He has great insights and suggestions.
