My experience with James as a Business English teacher is outstanding. He combines strong expertise with a clear, supportive teaching style. Each lesson is tailored to my professional goals, and I have significantly improved my presentation skills, vocabulary, and clarity in business communication. A truly exceptional instructor.

James and I have been working together for almost 4 years now. He has helped me progress from the beginner to the C1 speaking level. His lessons are always focused and structured but they are fun and engaging at the same time. I am a lawyer and law professor and James has taught me a lot about legal English and I feel like I can speak about legal concepts in English confidently now. James and I have frequently worked on editing my legal articles that I publish in English. We work on preparing for lectures I need to give in English and helping me write messages and communicate with my foreign colleagues and collaborators. I highly recommend him.

Often, the lesson will spark new insights and me yearning to look up things I don’t know. James offers legal insight when we talked about everyday (big) new, given to his background and knowledge, which, undeniably I love it! Knowing the possible legal action in the other side of the world helps, in understand my own place and culture. By the way, we talked about global luxury slowdown.
