I'm Victoria, a certified French teacher, trilingual expat, and passionate language learner.
Whether you're learning for travel, moving, or just for fun, I’ll help you speak real, everyday French.
I hold a degree in linguistics and have learned 2 foreign languages as an adult. That experience taught me that structure, encouragement, and real-life practice make all the difference. Now I use those same principles to support my students.
I live in France and bring you the kind of French people actually speak.

I specialize in teaching (absolute) beginners and low intermediate levels.
I'm very patient and supportive and my students always feel comfortable at making thier first steps/small conversations in French. My students are not afraid of talking and making mistakes. But I will always correct you and explain you how to say it in the "french way".
I'm deeply commited to helping you achieve your goal and speak French in daily life situations ( speaking to your French family, shopassistants, neighbours, civil servants, etc). I offer a structured, communicative approach to help you make progress in French and gradually build your knowledge and confidence. My lessons are both engaging - I always adapt them to your situation, interests, and needs - and practical, so you can immediately apply what you learn in real conversations.
In my lessons, you are the main character: you speak most of the time to practice the grammar or vocabulary we’re working on. I enjoy using authentic French - real conversations from videos, series, movies, and podcasts - to teach you the language as it’s spoken in everyday life.

Victoria is an excellent teacher. She is careful to create teaching plans that are suitable for my learning level. The lessons and homework are creative and interesting. I had my 3rd lesson today with Victoria. The lesson was excellent. We spent almost the entire time having a conversation. It was a fantastic opportunity for me to practice speaking in a conversation. Victoria is very patient and provides excellent feedback throughout the lesson on corrections and tips. I don't have a lot of opportunities to have a conversation in French, so this is valuable experience for me. I am working on getting over my fear of speaking French out loud (and making mistakes).
I highly recommend Victoria if someone is looking to develop their speaking abilities.

I agree with all the other comments here, Victoria is a great teacher for French conversation. Before her I was also doing iTalki conversation classes, but I was struggling to put one whole sentence together. Until I ran into her structured conversation classes. Just what I needed to start making progress! Now I can hold a conversation about any topic. Give her a try!

I just completed my introductory lesson with Victoria. It was a great first session. I am at a beginner level and she was very patient with me and gave me an opportunity to speak in French. I look forward to scheduling future lessons with Victoria.
