I’ve completed over 90 hours of class time with Angel, and get Spanish lessons from him 2-3x per week. He is an amazing teacher, mentor, and person! He’s supportive, mindful, and very skilled in adapting his lessons as needed. I met Angel with ZERO Spanish knowledge and am finally getting more confidence speaking and understanding. Angel is my first tutor on Italki. I got very lucky and we clicked quickly. I took 3 years of Spanish in High School and I've learned more with Angel in 7 lessons than I did in three years. His sessions are fun, I learn very practical phrases in a way that feels natural. In a short time I've gone from learning Spanish out of necessity to learning because I enjoy it. Angel also sends me very detailed notes on what we went over in class including vocabulary, fill in the blank questions, grammar explanations, and conversation examples.
