I’ve completed over 90 hours of class time with Angel, and get Spanish lessons from him 2-3x per week. He is an amazing teacher, mentor, and person! He’s supportive, mindful, and very skilled in adapting his lessons as needed. I met Angel with ZERO Spanish knowledge and am finally getting more confidence speaking and understanding. I even received many compliments from native speakers on my abilities when I visited Spain in the summer. He is a really nice teacher and always very positive and encouraging. Whilst practicing chatting with him once or twice a week your Spanish speaking abilities and confidence speaking will improve massively.

Angel is my first tutor on Italki. I got very lucky and we clicked quickly. I took 3 years of Spanish in High School and I've learned more with Angel in 7 lessons than I did in three years. His sessions are fun, I learn very practical phrases in a way that feels natural. In a short time I've gone from learning Spanish out of necessity to learning because I enjoy it. Angel also sends me very detailed notes on what we went over in class including vocabulary, fill in the blank questions, grammar explanations, and conversation examples. This has made studying outside of class so much easier for me. I would recommend him to anyone wanting to learn Spanish for a trip, work, or just for fun.

Angel is such a great teacher! These conversations are always fun, entertaining and challenging. He is a very insightful person and keeps the lessons based around topics that I'm interested in to keep me engaged. Very thankful for him and his passion for teaching others.
