¡Hola! I’m Silvia, a native Spanish teacher from Granada, Spain, now sharing my language and culture in London. **I specialize in helping students sound like natives**, whether you’re preparing for GCSE/A-Levels, mastering conversation, or starting from scratch (A1-C2).
As a lifelong language learner (currently tackling French!), I know the magic of **learning through real-life immersion**—think travel chats, authentic materials, and cultural quirks. My lessons reflect this: dynamic, tailored, and packed with native fluency tips.

As a teacher, I am fun and dynamic. I believe that learning a language should be about engaging your students into activities and giving them plenty of opportunities to talk. I am a tech-savvy that is why I use different online resources (google classroom, google drive, Skype, flashcards, kahoot) to make the most out of my classes. I also adapt the material to every student, there are no two classes which are exactly the same because every person will learn the language at a different pace. It is important for me as a teacher to be motivational and express this motivation to the rest. It is the only way to make sure that people want to continue learning with you.내 강의 및 지도 스타일
My lessons are full of variety to make sure nobody gets bored during the classes. I follow and put into practice 2 methodologies: the communicative approach and the Task-based approach. Meaning that I give plenty of opportunities for the students to talk, looking for fluency and accuracy and also I will send them different tasks to deal with them together, so that they learn how to solve realistics situations in the language they are learning on their own. All the material I am using is authentic, from magazines, newspapers, flashcards, videos on youtube, instagram, daily conversations with friends or letters about serious matters. I know some basics of Spanish. But has been too many years since I wanted to learn to speak Spanish at a good conversational level. There is never enough time or motivation to learn the language on my own.
So I decided to find a teacher to help me get on track. What I like about Silvia's classes is that she always brings energy to class. She has great sense of humor, is well prepared for classes and has lots of teaching experience. She genuinely enjoys sharing Spanish culture and connects it to the language learning.
Speaking about movies, food, interesting places and just life experiences makes learning vocabulary and grammar much more entertaining. Certainly, it is a long journey but I think that having a great teacher will help me get to a decent practical level of speaking Spanish.

Silvia and I went over our past week, and our plans for the upcoming weekend. We then went over common slang terms used in Spain. The conversation was natural and completely in Spanish, helping me better understand colloquial conversation.
