I am a native English Teacher from the UK with 30 years teaching experience of all levels from complete beginners to proficiency level, working as an IELTS, CAE & CPE Course Writer & Tutor for the British Council, and worked in their exams services department. I have taught PET, FCE and IGCSE and Primary & Secondary School students courses, & taught & created BUSINESS COURSES in both Business Writing, (CV preparation, emailing, reports & proposals) & Business Speaking (for negotiations, presentations, public speaking, media communications, interview preparation & meetings).지도 경험
I make sure that students get to practice and develop their language in order to be at the level they are aiming for, in a relaxed and friendly manner where they can gain confidence using new language. I can help especially in exam preparation having worked for many years in this area.
I will give you shared documents, pdf's, text books & web links, as well as my own materials with outlines of essays, emails and spoken presentations. We will go through model language to target your aims and you can send me, or share any written work and I will then help you to sharpen it to succeed in your goals.내 강의 및 지도 스타일
I make sure that lessons are based around your needs. In my 30 years teaching and course writing in schools, colleges and for the British Council I have helped students get their IELTS, PET, FCE, CAE and CPE scores and study at University at all levels, from BA's to PhD's.
I have helped people immigrate, helped doctors and nurses working using English, helped business people raise their writing level, give presentations and improve their negotiating skills, get jobs they need through interview preparation & helped students pass exams! I do this in a fun, interesting and friendly learning environment, practising the language that you need to get where you want to go!내 수업 자료

Thank you so much, teacher Dougal! In my IELTS Writing Task 2 I used your structure and I’ve just had my result back: I passed! I got a 7.5 for my writing and 8.5 for speaking. Thank you so much! Before the exam began, I tried to remember the structure you had given me. I noted it on my phone to revise just before the test started. I remembered it all and used it in my writing. I also used your ‘Second conditionals with inversions instead of if’, in my writing. It was the first time that I had used these two things and clearly, they helped. Thank you for giving me so much useful material in such a short time before the test and for helping me to achieve that score!!!

Dougal is an EXCELENT teacher.
Specially if you are looking for business classes. He helps you to summarize your ideas and to make things easier for your presentations.
You can tell him all the topics you have to make clear in your meetings, and Dougal will help you to structure this. You can really count with him, I REALLY recommend his classes.

I have had many CPE-preparation classes with this instructor. Dougal is a top-notch teacher who is knowledgeable, organised, professional and with a good sense of humour. What I liked the most was that he's resourceful and highly experienced. Not only did he tailor the classes to suit my needs, but he also focused on each topic which I had to work on in order to improve my level of English. As a result, I think that he hit the nail on the head. With me receiving all of this support from him, I can only be grateful to him for what he has done. If you are looking for a high quality instructor to book classes with, then he is the one you need. Specifically, had it not been for Dougal, my English wouldn't have been as good as it is today. All in all, Dougal is so great a teacher that I wholeheartedly recommend him; it would have been unfair if I didn't do so.
