Valentine proposed a book to read through. Our lesson covered the first chapter/short story, and it was such a fun read. She had me summarize the story in French, she highlighted common vocab/phrases, and she had me read an excerpt out loud to practice pronunciation and rhythm. She also talked through expectations and plans for the next session, which I really appreciate. She's very encouraging and helpful.
