I feel so fortunate to have found Carolina. She is the best! Works with me at my level towards my goals. She uses really good materials that are very helpful. I am always happy to have had a lesson with Carolina. Siempre cinco Estrellas!

Outstanding. I chose Carolina because of how clearly she spoke in her video, making it easy for me to understand her. I also was impressed that she is a journalist. I could tell that she was a nice person. She was very helpful and knowledgeable in our first lesson. I'm going begin regular lessons with her immediately.

Carolina had a game today, since I had asked about doing a fun activity. The game is somewhat like Clue, in that we had to solve an imaginary "crime" using pistas, clues to gather information about the crime location, suspects, object of a theft, etc. This was one of our most enjoyable lessons ever, in 5-1/2 years. I often say similar things about my lessons with Carolina, because they're consistently true. She works me hard. I feel like my brain is getting a workout. We pick difficult material and it's slow going, but I'm learning steadily. I'm learning about the legal system in Colombia and the standards of evidence, and I'm not involved in police or legal work--these are simply topics that have caught my interest in looking at other aspects of Colombian social life. Wherever you are in your studies of Spanish, Carolina can take you higher, at whatever pace you're ready for.

Carolina has guided me through 2 movie studies, and I am finally starting to understand movie dialog. I have developed some high-level skills in Spanish, but for reasons I am only starting to understand recently, comprehending movies has eluded me for 4 years. Three times now, Carolina has led me from impossibility to possibility in critical language skills, including this last barrier. It is northing short of a miracle. Carolina, I am grateful to you for life! With your help, nothing is impossible.

Carolina and I have a solid rapport after more than 5 years working together. I am starting to understand movies better, something with which I had struggled for 4 years. We finished reviewing a Master Plan I had gotten from a separate platform, and begin reviewing a list of "intelligent verbs," those which have multiple uses. Re: structure, Carolina always has suitable resources at her fingertips, and has put together several long-term plans of her own for me.
