I am a native English speaker learning Portuguese for an upcoming trip to Brazil, and I knew a little Portuguese at the start of the year but I lacked confidence in my speaking, but after just 4 lessons with Nathalia, my confidence in my speaking has improved massively, I am no longer worried about making mistakes and I can express myself and my ideas more clearly. Nathalia tailors the lessons to my goals and is very encouraging, supportive, and engaged throughout the lesson. During the lessons, we do activites like reading comprehension, roleplay, storytelling, and general conversation. Her passion for languages and teaching is clear, and she helps me improve inbetween lessons by recommending resources and making a list of words and phrases I didn't know or got wrong in the lesson. I am very happy I found her as a teacher and I plan to have many more lessons. Muito obrigada Nathalia!

I’ve been learning with Nathalia for a few months and have already made enormous progress. In our early classes together, I was lacking confidence and knowledge but she was really able to adapt the level of conversation to my needs and has continued to do so as I have studied in my own time outside of our classes. Even though I have only been learning for a few months, my ability to converse has drastically ameliorated thanks to her and I now rarely have to ask for phrases to be repeated or explained, meaning I can really focus on enjoying the conversation and gaining real-life experience of Portuguese. Beyond the learning, Nathalia is very easy to talk to and very patient with my attempts to converse, even when I struggle with the pronunciation or use the wrong word for a concept. I’ve had several teachers for a few different languages and my lessons with her are now my favourite; learning the language with her is a joy. Cinco estrelas facilmente

Professor Nathalia offers both grammar lessons and practical exercises to support language learning. She is patient and kind in her teaching approach. I highly recommend her!
