I had an amazing experience learning Spanish with Maria! I started lessons with her in preparation for a six-month trip through South/Central America, and her teaching provided me with a solid foundation that allowed me to confidently speak with locals during my travels. She puts a tremendous amount of effort into preparing each class, creating structured, engaging lessons that are effective in improving vocabulary, grammar, and overall speaking skills. As a result, my confidence in speaking Spanish grew significantly. One of the highlights of her classes was learning about the history of various Latin American countries, which not only deepened my understanding of the language but also enriched my travel experiences by giving me context and insight into the places I visited. Additionally, her super friendly and approachable demeanor, combined with her emotional intelligence, made each conversation comfortable and helped eliminate any fear of making mistakes.

I always love how Maria is well prepared, I enjoy her directed casual conversation that challenges me to speak about my interests as well as grammar, reading and comprehension activities that reinforce previous lessons. She is super warm, kind and approachable. I appreciate she lets me take my time to come up with answers, and lets me know new vocab so that I am expressing myself in an advanced way.

Another great class with Maria! She always goes at my pace, and really helps me express myself in my own words/depth. Looking forward to more classes.

i absolutely love maria’s classes the topics she picks and open discussions about whatever the student would like to discuss is an amazing way to challenge one’s level, she is super patient understanding and smart. i find myself very relaxed and welcomed to make mistakes and learn with her as i go, a total recommend to anyone who is a beginner or advanced there is always something to do and work on with maria ❤️👍🏻

I had a great session. I was very nervous and the whole class was in Spanish unless I struggled and then she would explain in English. it helped push me to use the Spanish I have and helped gauge my level. I had a great expierence and would book a class with her again.
