Esther Pérez

Let Esther be your guide on the journey of learning Spanish! I’m a long time student (20 years of community college and university courses and handfuls of in country courses) of Spanish, and she embodies all qualities that facilitate learning. She is pacient, knowledgeable, amiable and has EXPERIENCE teaching non native speakers her language. I’ve found few ‘professional’ teachers of Italki that have all of the qualites above. Her technique of gently correcting students should be emulated by all teachers. She has helped me prepare for the Dele B1, and now for the B2 exam. She offers a seemingly limitless arsenal of exercises, lesson plans, podcasts, etc for her students. Highest possible recommendation!

I just received word from Cervantes Institute that I passed my DELE B2 exam! I know it is in no small part to Esther’s diligence in teaching, excellent resources, and her engaging classes that helped me keep my drive to study. While I did my part to study for the test Esther always corrected my mistakes in a gentle fashion and encouraged me that I did meet the requirements for the level I was taking. Additionally, Esther has imparted a deep love of her language within me. She tailors classes to my needs and seems to have a limitless access to resources.
