I am originally from Atlanta, Georgia but since 2002, have lived in Costa Rica. I am married with two children who were born here and we have a bilingual household. I enjoy playing cello, going to the beach, all types of sports and exercise, spending time with my family and traveling. I have 3 dogs and 4 cats because I love rescuing animals in need! We live in a small town called Nicoya in Costa Rica and it’s very peaceful and relaxed.지도 경험
I’ve been teaching English for most of my years in Costa Rica since 2002 and enjoy it very much. I’ve taught in schools and private institutions but with children of my own, it works better for me to teach in my home. I love having classes with small groups or individuals because I feel I can give them better attention and therefore they learn much faster and much better. 내 강의 및 지도 스타일
Before the pandemic I taught private classes in my home to individuals and small groups to children as young as 1 1/2 years old to adults in their mid 60’s and 70’s. My students are very special to me and each one learns differently. I am very good at adapting to the students needs and abilities. Even in the same class, I can teach one way to a lower level student while changing it up for more advanced students. I use books, videos, songs and games to make the classes as dynamic and fun as possible.5.0
