Today's lesson was again very interesting. I am interested in Japanese literature so I take reading lessons every 2 weeks.
Today we read a folktale called 'The grateful crane' and then we discussed the contents and the morals of the story.
While reading Tom-sensei will carefully explain the different nuances of the words in the story, he also corrects my pronunciation.
On top of that, Tom-sensei always prepares some history or different versions of the story which he writes down in a shared note document for me to review.
I highly recommend Tom-sensei's lessons!

I've said this a few times now I think, but Tom is an excellent teacher if you like structure and repetition. The lessons are starting to get more difficult for me, but he is patient and helps me work through things I don't immediately understand or make mistakes with.

I am eight lessons in now, and things I thought would never make sense I find myself understanding. I wish I started doing this sooner, I have high hopes for where i'll be months from now!
