She taught me very politely and kindly. So I was able to take the class calmly without being nervous. Once I get homework, I'll try as much as I can. Then, I'll book the next class. Kareen is one of the best teachers I have met on italki and Preply. She is very patient. She never interrupts. If she wants to correct your mistakes or help you improve in other ways, she will take notes and share them with you when you finish speaking. And she will leave a quiz after class. I love the quiz and requested more. She tries to have the class immersed in French. But if necessary, she can switch to fluent English or even native-like Japanese, which is so rare. That’s because she has been living in Japan for over 20 years, teaching French and English. I recommend her highly to anyone who wants to learn French stress-free.

The lesson was very good! Today we reviewed content from the previous lesson and looked further into rules of Passé composé. I really appreciate how she is patient with my slow answers and is flexible with my speed of learning :-))

Super leçon !

Karen is an excellent teacher! She is very patient and discussions with her are always super enjoyable. Speaking French with her has helped me notice patterns in my speaking skills and correct my mistakes. I never feel judged and I am always excited for the opportunity to speak French with her and learn something new! Merci beaucoup :)
