I'm Lucas Mateo
I'm 21 years old, I live in Mexico City and I study history at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, "UNAM"
I love talking for hours and meeting new people, their cultures and traditions. Also what they eat in their countries.
I like to spend my time doing stand-up comedy, listening to music, reading normally novels and history books. I also like sports especially baseball and tennis but we can talk about any other.지도 경험

I understand the problem of speaking a language and thinking it sounds ridiculous. That's why I want us to lose our fear of this. I want to help you to learn and practice your Spanish in the most fun and easy possible way.

Generally I give conversation class where we talk about anything you want to learn and practice. You will improve your conversation skills, pronunciation and phonetics.
If you have a topic for a class in mind, please feel free to contact me before the class so I can plan for us, a more dynamic class.

It is difficult to capture in a single review how INCREDIBLE my lesson was with Lucas this morning!!!!!! Probably the BEST I have had on italki!!!!! Lucas assigned me the very fun homework of watching the first episode of the Netflix series, Las Crónicas del Taco, but we didn't even get a chance to talk about it because we were having so much fun talking about other things... and he is really helping me with my pronunciation so I can speak more like a Mexicana :) I am so grateful to have found him, I will be booking many more lessons with Lucas !

Super lección- muy divertida y reveladora sobre temas polémicos como el prejuicio, la tolerancia y el respeto ajeno. Cada sesión, me siento más y más suelto y me desenvuelvo con mayor fluidez mis pensamientos y expresión lingüística, gracias a mi profe buena onda. : )

Que buena clase hoy de temas sobre la ambición: planes para los próximos 5 an~os y cuáles países me gustaría descubrir. Charlamos y practicamos utilizando tiempos del futuro, pasado y probabilidad como el condicional, discretamente disfrazados en la plática con ejemplos concretos.... la mejor manera de estudiar y practicar los tiempos complejos es al contar una historia en el pasado y futuro. Mil gracias.

We had the funnest time having an in-depth discussion about US homes and our amazing A/C systems. First world problems are hilarious topics when seen through the eyes of someone outside the US, and in Spanish even more ridiculously amazing - in Spanish!!! : ). Always hilarious and a great pleasure!
