Hello! I’m Laura, a Londoner living in France with over 6 years experience teaching English.
I am learning French myself so I get the struggles of language learning. I specialise in friendly conversations with helpful advice (think natural phrases and idioms), targeted learning using my library of great resources (grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation) & supportive kids’ classes, blending learning with fun.
My students say I’m warm, funny and great at simplifying difficult topics.
In my free time I love hiking, cooking, practicing yoga and gardening.
I'd love to help you make real progress in English, in a low-pressure and enjoyable way 😊

As your teacher, I will help you and give you lots of time to talk and practice. I aim to create a safe and relaxed environment to learn in. After all, learning should be at least a little fun!
I also have lots of teaching experience so I can clearly explain ideas, making sure our lessons support your level, needs and interests.

English tutorI teach English to private students online via Zoom. These classes are one to one, and are planned exclusively for each student according to their level and needs. I develop custom made curriculums for students and provide feedback and learning objectives.

English tutor for adults, teenagers and childrenI currently tutor with an American based, online language platform and have taught over 6250 lessons with them to students from around the world. I have 100% positive reviews and have taught 460 students since I began in 2019, showing that I have a great retention rate of students.

학사 - Psychology BSc (hons)My degree focussed on Neuropsychology in it's final year. I am fascinated with how our behaviour and understanding of the world is processed in the brain, and how we can use this knowledge to better understand our actions and reactions, and, of course, how we learn.

My experience consists of free conversation, structured goal based lessons including grammar classes and business English and interview coaching. In addition, I teach structured and semi-structured lessons for children and teenagers and develop and deliver personalised curriculums for young learners.

Project ManagerI worked as a Project Manager in a University, within the sector of Medical Education. I managed a team of 15 people, organised, developed and lead training courses and worked on national projects, increasing the quality of medical education standards in England.
