Irish CELTA certified teacher for English and French learners (and I'm very nice ;) ) Hello! I'm Ciaran, I'm Irish but I've been in France for the last 10 years. I speak both English and French fluently, with a few bits of other languages too. I work in a hospital and I give classes on iTalki. Some info about me: I have 2 cats, I like to cook and to ride my bike and listen to podcasts. Bonjour! Moi c'est Ciaran, je suis irlandais mais j'habite en France depuis 10 ans maintenant. Je parle donc couramment anglais et français. Je travaille dans un hôpital et en même je donne des cours sur iTalki. Quelques infos sur moi : j'ai 2 chats, j'aime cuisiner, faire du vélo et écouter des podcasts. I did a CELTA course and I taught in an English school in France to get some in person teaching experience. I love explaining grammar and showing students tips to speak better, faster. Whether you want to focus on conversation or grammar, or to work on your reading and writing skills, I'll be able to help you! J'ai un certificat CELTA et ensuite j'ai travaillé dans une école d'anglais en France pour gagner de l'expérience d'enseignement en présentiel. Je suis passionné par la grammaire et j'adore donner des astuces à mes élèves pour qu'ils parlent mieux, et rapidement. I had my first lesson with Ciaran today, and it was such a positive experience. I’ve been struggling with French for quite a while, which had put me in a defensive mindset where I tried to avoid speaking the language altogether. Ciaran created a relaxed and supportive environment with no stress or pressure. I think this was the most French I’ve ever spoken in just one hour — thanks a million and Oíche Shamhna shona duit!
