Hey! I’m Clémentine 👋
I grew up bilingual — I’m a native French and Portuguese speaker, and I started learning English at the age of 10. Since then, English has become a natural part of my life.
I’m also learning Italian🇮🇹, Russian🇷🇺, and German🇩🇪, so I truly understand the challenges (and the fun!) of learning new languages.
🌍 Languages have shaped my life since childhood, and now I love sharing this passion with my students through conversation practice, cultural exchange, and real-life communication.

My students consider me a patient, dynamic, and positive tutor. They often describe my lessons as relaxed, engaging, and encouraging, where they feel comfortable to speak without pressure.
In our classes, we focus on conversation practice, and if you’d like, I also bring in elements of Swiss or Portuguese culture. For me, learning a language is not only about grammar and vocabulary, but also about sharing cultures and perspectives.

✨ Lesson type: Conversation & Interaction ✨
My lessons are based on a simple Question & Answer method: I ask, you answer — then you ask, and I answer. This creates a natural flow and helps you practice real communication.
✅ This method makes you feel comfortable and confident when building sentences, from A1 to C2 level.
✅ At the end of each lesson, I’ll share a document with our conversation notes, corrections, and useful vocabulary — so you can review and keep track of your progress. (This is mainly provided in French and Portuguese lessons for students below C1 level.)내 수업 자료

C'était mon troisième cours avec Clémentine. Elle est gentille et intelligente, et j'aime beaucoup apprendre avec elle. (now for the English as my French is beginner and I want to give her a good reivew)!
Clémentine makes sure I push myself in our lessons (I really struggle with the confidence to try speaking) and I always come away feeling encouraged to continue learning outside the classroom.
She doesn't mind me using English words when I'm not sure and corrects me in a way that doesn't make me feel stupid. Merci beaucoup Clémentine!

In the handful of months that I’ve had the pleasure of taking classes with Clementine, I’ve come to know her as a very kind and welcoming person who is incredibly good at what she does. I took both French and Portuguese classes with her, and both were a struggle for me in the beginning. Luckily, I had Clementine to help me through the initial difficult phase of starting to speak a new language. I would highly recommend her as a teacher because, in addition to all of the above, she is also a fervent language learner herself and has done more language learning than most of us could ever dream of. This is why she truly understands the student’s perspective, which differentiates her from most other teachers. It was a pleasure taking classes with her.
