Hi! I am Nick or Nikita. I am a native Russian speaker and I am fluent in English and German. I am a self-taught learner of Italian, Portuguese, and Serbian-Croatian. 🤓
During my university years, I studied international relations and management, and I am passionate about culture and history.
I am an enthusiastic traveler and have had the opportunity to explore 27 countries around the world. 🌍 I love meeting new people and learning about their cultures and history.
Fitness and cooking are also my passions. 💪 I believe that physical activity is essential for both our physical and mental well-being. I can cook anything, from teriyaki chicken to desserts. I used to be a chocolate maker.🍫지도 경험
I have a flexible teaching style that incorporates immersion in the language environment through live dialogues and grammar explanations. I actively engage you in conversations covering a wide range of topics to expedite the learning process, deepen your understanding of the language, and foster critical thinking skills.

I usually use the Dogme teaching style. We don't rely on textbooks; instead, we focus on talking directly. We discuss current topics and have live conversations, which encourage you to use specific words and grammar. These lessons can be a bit unpredictable because the material comes up as we go along.
I love teaching, and I've created a free online project for learning Russian called #Russian_with_Nick on Instagram and Substack, which I also use in my lessons.내 수업 자료

Nick is very patient. He also asks follow up questions to continue the conversation, rather than just waiting for me to make mistakes, taking an active role. He also gives examples in different contexts for new words and phrases.

We had a great chat. I explained the plot of a horror film to Nick. Then we continued reading an article on Russian holidays. Nick was very helpful in explanations and giving example sentences.
