I am Martina, 28 years old, German-Italian, and my bilingual upbringing raised my profound interest in languages in the first place. I have a Bachelor's and a Master's in Psychology, and worked as a researcher in academia. I have already lived in Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, and Portugal. Previously, I worked at a psychiatric hospital, as a babysitter, in customer service, and as a tutor for different subjects and age groups. My interests include literature, personal development, culture, theater and acting, movies, health… I mainly teach in the evening (CET) and on weekends. If you need other times, please contact me :)

I am curious, open-minded, and flexible, meaning that I always try to adapt to my student's needs. I believe that the more fun you have, the better you learn! My main focus is a conversation; however, I am open to going through single grammar topics and adapt my lessons accordingly.내 강의 및 지도 스타일
I first assess my student's level and talk about their needs, language history, and how they enjoy learning. I use a Google doc where we keep track of what we do during the lesson and essential rules, vocabulary, exercises, etc. Furthermore, I have a bunch of grammar exercises and some beginner learning books. I am open to whatever my students want to work on. I also like to read and discuss newspaper articles, cultural issues, and books. I like having a rough plan about the structure of upcoming lessons, and then to "go with the flow".내 수업 자료

I really enjoyed my 30 min trial! Martina was patient and kind. I appreciated her willingness to allow me to search for the words I needed but had trouble calling into use (it was really my first time 'chatting' with someone in german and I was nervous!). I would definitely recommend her to folks who need a kind-hearted teacher and I will definitely schedule another lesson!
