Hi! I'm a 30 year old writer and translator living in New York City. I grew up in the U.S., in Baltimore.
In my free time, I like hiking, singing, reading, and learning languages. I'm also really interested in history and making documentary films.지도 경험
I'm patient, and I won't judge your English: I'm here to help you! You can always ask me to repeat something or talk more slowly.
I have 5 years of experience teaching English to adults, college students, and high school students. I have a Bachelors degree in English and a Masters degree in Writing. Hablo español, y lo utilizo con mis alumnos hispanohablantes cuando sea necesario.
I'll regularly ask you for feedback. I want to know if anything is unhelpful, so I can adjust the way I teach you.

I work with intermediate and advanced students. I teach three types of lessons:
1. Conversation: We talk in English and I offer corrections and general feedback.
2. Writing: We edit your writing in English. You learn how to write with the appropriate tone and register, and you practice grammar.
3. Literature: We read and discuss novels, poetry, and songs in English (or write our own!).
I emphasize speaking and listening. I'll help you build confidence as a speaker.
In conversation classes, we'll use a common type of U.S. English spoken between friends and family, but we can also study other kinds of English you might encounter.내 수업 자료

Will is awesome! We had conversation practice lessons for a few months. He is very patient, nice and he always makes me feel comfortable to talk, which is very helpful with my speaking English. If you are a shy person or don't have confidence to speak out, I would definitely recommend Will. I stopped my lessons for around 1 month due to my personal reason, but I will for sure come back to Will's lesson when I start my lessons on iTalki.

It's always fun to have a lesson with Will. He's patient, kind and enthusiastic about languages and literature. His lessons are structured usually, but he also adjusts the content or the flow of the lesson based on what you ask for.

He has a positive attitude during lessons and methodically and consistently helps correct mistakes in my pronunciation.
