Hi everyone, my name is Midori! I am a native English speaker and a CELTA & TEFL certified teacher from the USA. My greatest passion is learning about people, languages and cultures.
My mom is from Japan and my dad is from Venezuela but I was born and raised in the US, so I grew up with a natural interest in learning about the world around me.
My hobbies include traveling, doing yoga, spending time in nature, and making art!지도 경험
I have 4+ years of experience teaching English as a second language. I have taught in classrooms and online, in public schools and a private university in Japan, in groups and one-on-one.
My favorite way to teach is one-on-one, because it is the most versatile and flexible learning experience. As a teacher, I am kind, patient, and friendly!
Many of my students have been learning English through textbooks in classrooms for many years, but are still not confident in their language skills. My role as a teacher is to help you build that confidence with each lesson. I am patient and encouraging -- I want you to feel comfortable speaking in English and I will help you get there. :) 내 강의 및 지도 스타일
I like to establish a friendly relationship with my students -- you should feel comfortable enough with me to speak freely, make mistakes and express your opinions. For my conversation classes, I like to keep the discussions natural and realistic in the same way that you would have a real-life conversation with a native speaker, rather than a formal, classroom-like experience.내 수업 자료
