Katya is an excellent—a truly *excellent*—tutor. She always gives me her full, undivided attention. She listens to me so very carefully, politely correcting my mistakes and identifying areas of weakness that need addressed. She's patient, kind, fun, and amiable. Her English is superb. It's a shame that people tend to so freely scatter compliments on iTalki out of kindness to their tutors, only because the ubiquitous praise makes it difficult for students to identify the truly excellent, outstanding teachers on here. Katya is one of those outstanding, top-tier teachers. I think you will be hard-pressed to find anyone better. (I certainly haven't.) To understand why she is so great, you'll just need to schedule a lesson and see for yourself.

Katya is a very skilled, patient and absolutely creative teacher. She individually designs your lessons, enabling you to progress fast while at the same time giving repetition and reviewing material enough space. She offers and selects a great variety of tasks and makes sure that there is a nice balance between speaking, listening, reading and writing. As a language teacher myself I highly recommend her style, it's really language teaching at its best.

I have already left Katya a longer, more substantive review, and I won't repeat all of that here. I will only reiterate that she is a *phenomenal* teacher, and you simply *will not* find a better one. She's the cream of the crop. Truly excellent.

I have really enjoyed my lessons with Katya. She's one of the best language teachers I've ever had. I appreciate how she organizes the lessons with conversation mixed with grammar instruction and relevant practice based on my real life. She's also able to adjust and further personalize the lesson based on topics or grammatical concepts that come up in the moment. It makes it much easier to learn vocabulary and grammar when the examples we are discussing are related to things I would normally talk about. I feel very comfortable to speak a lot of Ukrainian in our lessons even if I make mistakes because I know that she will help me learn from this mistakes while keeping the conversation flowing naturally. Even though sometimes I forget the same word over and over or make the same grammatical mistake (oh genitive), she keeps the same positive energy whether it's the first or fifth time. I can already tell I'm improving a lot from our lessons!

Katya is a great teacher. From our first lesson, she had me speaking. She adapts the learning material to my needs and strengths as a student.

Very kind, and taught me a lot of useful words. Showed me that locative case is easy to learn, and I am excited to keep going.
