As a certified Telc German teacher, I specialize in helping students master German—whether for daily conversation or Goethe exam success. My multicultural background (fluent in 5 languages!) and love for art and history make lessons engaging and relatable. Patience and adaptability are my superpowers—I thrive on connecting with diverse learners and turning tricky grammar into clear, visual lessons. Let’s make German feel less "kompliziert" and more like fun! My experience of teaching German has given me insight into the personality of many people. I am a successful German and English teacher and translator who enjoys the multicultural atmosphere of foreign language classes. As an experienced Instructor I am capable of simplifying the language learning process and explaining difficult language concepts. I use many Books including Schritte, Menschen, Sicher to teach people the German language. Because German can be rather complicate sometimes, I utilize tables and images to give my students a visual oversight of the Grammar and Words. Pictures, Videos and visual media are given to the students, so that they can better visualize the Vocabulary needed to speak fluent German. I hope you will find this method appealing and we will start to cooperate together.

It's been a while that my son is taking lessons with David to prepare for the C2 Goethe exam. Lessons are very structured: free conversation, homework review, topic of the lesson based on the book or other materials, keeping track of the new term, as well as mistakes on the chat. Very consistent with the schedule. Recommended for serious and motivated students.

Meine Stunden mit David sind sehr prägend für meine Reise des Deutschlernens und er ist mit Abstand der beste Deutschlehrer, den man finden kann. Er ist sehr unterstützend, ermutigend und professionell. Er spricht Deutsch und Englisch mit höchster Kompetenz und hat sogar sein eigenes Deutschbuch für die Vorbereitung auf Goethe- und telc-Prüfungen geschrieben. Ich würde also sagen, er ist der Lehrer, an den man sich wenden sollte.

I had my first trial session with David. After a quick introduction, we immediately jumped into German grammar and one of my weak points. The session was very efficient with examples. Overall I recommend David for German-learners and those who want to improve their German.
