Hello! I am Shoko, a professional Japanese teacher. I've been teaching Japanese for over 7 years. I am qualified and try to make all the content easy to understand. In addition, I always keep in mind to make my lessons fun and comfortable, and never make you nervous about speaking Japanese.
Beginner language learners tend to feel nervous about speaking and become less confident because of the teacher's too many corrections. I never make you feel like that! Please relax and enjoy Japanese :)

ありがとうございました！Another great lesson with しょこ先生。This week Shoko taught me more kanji, we did a JLPT N5 kanji review, reviewed the より、のほうが comparisons and learnt how to conjugate adjectives into the くて、で forms! また来週ね！

I highly recommend this teacher! She provides very kind and encouraging guidance while being extremely well-organized. As a full-time professional on iTalki, she’s truly passionate about teaching Japanese. She understands the challenges we face as foreigners learning a new language because she travels a lot and has that global perspective. She’s absolutely the best choice for students at any level as she is very patient and encouraging. She makes the class enjoyable!
