I truly enjoy our lessons. I'm a beginner and I can ensure you that Lee Laoshi teaches in an efficient and fun way indeed! You can feel that she's a professional and that she has an extensive educational and pedagogical background. She listens carefully to all your needs and cater to them - whether you need to practice for school, work, whether it's going to be grammar or conversational mandarin - she's got you covered. Always well prepared. Even homework is well thought-through and customised for your needs. She's patient, helpful and encouraging. She uses real-life examples - when i was learning large numbers we would go on estate stales websites and use the prices as a learning tool😁 Each week, after those 45min I feel genuine improvement in tones pronunciation, speech comprehension and understanding practiced grammar structures. I was so lucky to find a teacher this good!!! 謝謝老師！

李老師 is an incredible teacher! She puts an immense amount of effort into creating customized classes to help me at my current level, and gives me a variety of challenges to help with my listening, reading, writing, and speaking abilities. She is incredibly patient and kind, and makes each lesson very fun. It is very clear that she has a great passion for teaching, and I have benefited greatly from taking her classes :) 謝謝老師！

So far I've completed around 30 lessons with 李老師, and I can't wait for more! She's very professional, patient and always well prepared. Even though I study Mandarin at university, she's the one who gives me confidence to communicate in that language. By teaching grammar through speaking, rather than countless writing exercises she makes me feel capable. She really brings out the best in people, thank you!

李老師 was an engaged and well organized instructor. She was a gentle but strong guide for each class and provided interesting and very helpful practice materials in-between classes. As an intermediate heritage speaker it was most useful to have my pronunciation corrected while also getting a perspective on cultural/generational differences in language. Overall, I'm very satisfied and motivated to continue my studies.

I’ve taken 10 lessons with Lee Laoshi so far, and I’ve genuinely looked forward to every single one. Learning Chinese can definitely be intimidating at times, but she creates such a positive and encouraging environment that I never feel discouraged, even when I make mistakes. She’s incredibly patient, explains things clearly, and always takes the time to make sure I understand before moving on. I never feel rushed, and I always leave class feeling like I’ve made real progress. More importantly, I leave feeling excited for the next lesson and motivated to keep learning. If you’re thinking about learning Chinese, I highly recommend Lee Laoshi. She’s knowledgeable, kind, encouraging, and makes the entire learning process enjoyable. I’m really glad I found her and I’m looking forward to many more lessons.
