English with Ideas from Structured Foundations to Deep Discussions Hello! I am an easy-going person and I enjoy teaching in a friendly and encouraging environment. I have a first-class honours degree in Ancient History (Classics) and Philosophy. I am currently studying for a Master’s degree in Philosophy, taught in German. I also have: - TESOL/ TEFL certification to teach English. - TEOL certification for teaching English online. - Over 4 years of experience teaching English online to adult and young adult students. - Years of personal experience as an adult language learner myself (German and Vietnamese). (This means I know the exact challenges an adult language learner faces). Because I am interested in many areas, including reading, writing, history, philosophy, science, languages, and more, I enjoy conversations about different topics and love talking to people from all around the world. I use a variety of materials to ensure lessons are personalised to your exact needs. In every class, I will offer gentle corrections to help you communicate clearly and sound more natural, and provide notes for your self-study. Beginners: We will focus on well-made, structured lessons to help you learn the fundamentals, gain confidence, and build a strong foundation in English. Intermediates: We will work together to solidify your English abilities, fix common mistakes, and help you reach an advanced level. Advanced: I provide stimulating conversation to help you expand your vocabulary and continue to improve.

Ich kann den Englischunterricht bei Joe absolut empfehlen. Er geht gezielt auf meine Schwächen ein und erklärt den Unterrichtsstoff so, dass ich ihn wirklich verstehe. Dabei bleibt er immer geduldig und motivierend. Besonders gut gefällt mir, dass der Unterricht klar strukturiert ist und trotzdem Raum für individuelle Fragen lässt.
