Hi! My name is Hui-Ching, or Jamie! Teaching is what I live to do and I have been teaching Chinese for over 10 years - mostly in higher education. I offer customized courses based on the needs of all language learners, and yes, that includes HSK lessons! All students have different needs so I design my own learning materials for all learners. I have been teaching Chinese for over 10 years - mostly in higher education. My students are international college students from all over the world. I have taught different Chinese courses for different-level students, from beginners to advanced-level students. I also design course materials based on students' learning goals and learning needs. In other words, I have the ability and experience of creating learning content for various learners. I am also familiar with online teaching and learning. I have created online content for HSK-specific courses, Chinese conversation courses and for students who wanted to improve their reading and writing proficiency.내 강의 및 지도 스타일
I offer customized courses based on the needs of all language learners. I am a friendly teacher, so students will never be afraid of asking questions. I am also a very organized teacher, so my students always feel it's easier and effective to learn in my class. I pay attention to students' improvement and learning process and will provide timely and appropriate feedback and assessment. Moreover, I will make sure students are motivated and supportive in my classes. My class is usually fun and interactive. Students can learn the language and use what they have learned outside of the classroom confidently. Students will also learn some language-learning strategies along the way.내 수업 자료

I've had 5 lessons so far and plan to continue. 呂老師 is extremely well prepared, thorough, encouraging, enthusiastic, and creative — each lesson has been enjoyable and fruitful. The teaching materials she's chosen have been appropriate in level and also directly relevant to me. I'm an advanced learner who has very few opportunities right now to practice speaking and writing about meaningful topics, much less be corrected, so I appreciate these lessons very much. And it's a bonus that even when things get really nuanced, I can rely on her excellent command of English to help tease apart the meanings. So I encourage you to book a lesson — just don't take my slot! :) 呂老師，謝謝您！

I'm so grateful to have Hui-Ching as my teacher. She's patient, recommends excellent content to study, and speaks super clearly. When I stumble she's able to help me along because both 1) her English is excellent; and 2) she's such an experienced teacher that she's able to understand what I'm saying even if I mess up the tone.

Another great lesson - the environment makes it engaging and easy to switch between conversation practice, grammar explanation, and vocabulary review. (Today we covered uncommon time periods for describing actions, which are useful for describing my life).

Lu 老師 is thoughtful and attentive. In just a few classes, I already see her tweaking and optimizing what and how she teaches to create a tailored learning experience. She's also patient, and takes the time to explain concepts or ideas in detail. I highly recommend Lu 老師 for anyone looking to level up their Chinese.
