Hi, I am Anke from Germany, 40 years old. I am a pedagogue and have been teaching German for many years, both in person and online. I am patient, curious, lively, and outgoing, and I love to read, hike, take photos, ride my bicycle and most of all- to travel. I previously lived in China, where I studied Chinese at JiaoTong University Shanghai. During my time there, I worked as a German teacher, translator and interpreter for German, English and Chinese. Learning about different cultures and languages is my passion, which is why I truly enjoy studying and teaching languages.

지도 경험

Having a background in pedagogy as well as a degree in `Teaching German as a Foreign language` through Goethe Institut and University of Jena, I did not only gain teaching experience in working as a German teacher at Goethe Institut Shanghai but also in having various private German students, both adults and children. Having lived in China for many years, I can very well understand the struggels and difficulties of learning a new language and therefore know how to adapt my German class to your individual goals and needs. Thorough lesson planning, evaluation, exercises, sponaneity and fun is what is going to help you to improve your German quickly.

In my class the practice, improvement and development of your communication skills is going to be the main focus. In a fun and relaxed atmosphere- without having to be afraid of making mistakes- we will practice and improve your communication abilities by using various kinds of entertaining and authentic topics, excercises and materials. In that way you will be able to expand your vocabulary rapidly and develop your understanding of grammar structures. In order to practice new as well as already existing vocabulary and grammar I will provide homework on a class-to-class basis ( if your time permits :) ).

This is a German-Chinese language course cooperation on behalf of the Goethe Institute e.V., the international cultural institute of the Federal Republic of Germany. I taught the children's courses (ages 5-6 and 7-12 years) and adult courses at level B1

Anke is a great teacher. I absolutely recommend her. She encourages you to talk a lot during the class, and she also finds mistakes and tries to correct them in a very professional manner, by building and repeating the sentences. I asked her from the beginning that I would like to have structured classes, as well as general discussions. We have a perfect balance of both conversational practice and a book, which we use for homework and for grammar revision.

I have been learning German with Anke for two years now from A1 to B1. As a language teacher myself, I absolutely recommend her to anyone. Anke is an outstanding teacher, very enthusiastic all the time, and extremely responsible.
