Thank you for visiting my profile. My name is Mona and I’m a language teacher with over 12 years experience teaching Mandarin Chinese.
Before I became a professional Chinese teacher, I was a language learner, and now can speak fluent Japanese and some English as well. This means I understand your efforts and can help you master the Chinese language. I speak standard Mandarin Chinese and have a passion for teaching. I am also interested in different cultures.

I provide materials, including textbooks, videos, and interactive online tools. We will practice listening, speaking, reading and writing and I can explain grammar questions. My students say that I am very friendly and patient.

I have quite enjoyed many lessons I had with Mona, she is an awesome teacher and I definitely recommend! She is knowledgable and patient, I feel like I have learned a lot since the first class. She is able to keep the lessons engaging, able to pull from wide variety of topics, ensuring there is always something interesting to talk about.
She is accommodating and flexible, and I also very appreciate her constantly planning the next step ahead, I feel like that really helps me focus on just learning. In addition, I enjoy never feeling stressed during classes even if I struggle, thanks to her efforts. She always gives powerful encouragement which I feel like helps me improve a lot.
Overall, her classes have helped me learn a lot. Looking forward to continuing lessons with Mona!
