Hi! I'm Mónica from Mexico City. I studied Linguistics and Spanish Literature, and I’ve taught over 5,000 classes on italki. I love languages and my dream is to speak as many as possible. I also give cultural tours, so I’ll share language tips and local secrets too! I focus on helping you speak from day one, using natural methods, patience, and encouragement. Learning Spanish with me means enjoying the process and feeling supported every step of the way. My lessons are conversational, dynamic, and based on your interests. We start with useful phrases and vocabulary in context, so you speak from day one. I use methods like comprehensible input (Dreaming Spanish) and Language Transfer to build understanding. I also provide custom materials, practice exercises, and flashcards. I’ll guide you step by step with patience and strategies tailored to your pace. She also customizes each class based on what I want to work on as well as the areas in which I could use more practice. The homework she gives is useful and interesting.
