Hello, my name is Jan. I come from Poland but have developed a strong connection with Norway over the years. I find myself visiting Norway quite frequently, making the journey between these two beautiful countries 4-7 times a year. In fact, my affinity for Norway led me to make a life-changing decision in 2018. I took the bold step of moving to Norway, where I resided for more than a year. This experience allowed me to immerse myself in the rich culture and captivating landscapes that Norway has to offer. With a deep appreciation for both my Polish roots and my Norwegian adventures, I continue to embrace the best of both worlds. I teach Norwegian since 2020.

I know how difficult it can be to learn Norwegian, especially for polish people. If you are at the A1-B1 level in Norwegian, you have come to the right place and found the right teacher for you:)

On the first lesson, I'm going to ask you two questions. Why? Why do you want to learn Norwegian? What is your reason? The answer will serve as your internal motivator and help me prepare lessons tailored to your needs. How? How did you learn Norwegian? How can you continue learning Norwegian between our lessons? We need to determine the best learning approach based on your needs.

Jan is an excellent teacher! I am so thrilled that after taking a few lessons with him, today I was able to start having small conversations with him in Norsk. Whenever I make grammatical mistakes/punctuation mistakes he very patiently and gently corrects me.
