Valentina is such an incredible person and a fantastic Spanish tutor. Of all the lessons I have had on italki, the lessons with Valentina are the most fun and the most productive. She has the ability to make a student feel like they are a close friend from the first moment of the first lesson. In fact, Valentina has such a beautiful way of connecting with others and it is obvious that her heart is filled with love and appreciation for all people. During our lessons, I am able to set aside my discomfort with my numerous mistakes because of the trust she builds during the lessons. I am able and willing to take risks with my Spanish because of the rapport she has developed with me. She always corrects my mistakes but does it in a way which permits me to have more confidence in Spanish rather than less. Also, she always has words of encouragement about my Spanish ability. Being intermediate in ability means I sometimes need an encouraging word from her. She is my favorite italki tutor.

I had a wonderful class with Valentina! She is so much fun to talk to; I felt very comfortable practicing my Spanish with her. She gives a lot of space for allowing me to express my thoughts as I try to communicate in Spanish. I highly recommend taking classes with Valentina!
