I like to focus on all the language skills but especially on the ability to speak. I want my students to lose the fear of expressing themselves and of making mistakes. I like working a lot on pronunciation, grammar, expressions and vocabulary but in real practice, I want them to see in me more than a teacher a friend who will accompany them in this learning process with a lot of love and patience.

En éste diplomado fortalecí mis competencias como profesora de lenguas extranjeras (bilinguismo, evaluación, PBL Project, etc) mejoré mis habilidades como profesora de Español Lengua Extranjera. Obtuve calificación 4.8/5.0 en mi proyecto de grado, en el cuál desarrollé una unidad didactica. Objetivo: mejorar la escritura, fluidez, pronunciación, el uso adecuado del lenguaje y el dominio del discurso frente al público.

María is AMAAAAAZING! The Maria you see in the video? That’s her, ONLY BETTER!!! I can’t recommend her enough. She is prepared with an immense amount of information, materials, and resources, but she doesn’t hide behind it. It’s for you to use inside and outside of her lessons to help you get to where you want to go. During the lesson Maria uses tour conversation to elegantly guide your lesson to where you want it to go. She is super organized, but it doesn’t at all feel constricted. Two thumbs up, 5 stars, 10/10!

Maria is great! She’s fun to talk to, is honest, and will go in depths as to why certain phrases are said the way they are. Highly recommend if you want to improve your Spanish to sound more natural

It’s like she has a sixth sense for where you are and what will help you grow. Her classes aren’t just informative. They’re inspiring. She knows when to push, when to pause, and always has a plan that feels tailor made. She makes sure you truly understand and remember. You feel supported every step of the way, like she’s right there beside you, cheering you on. Today was my 44th Spanish class. I can’t believe how much my Spanish has changed in half a year from an absolute beginner. But with María, it’s felt possible, even exciting.

Maria made me feel very relaxed and comfortable in our first lesson. I have tried other teachers on italki, and I didn't have the relaxed vibe that I had with her. She was very prepared and explained all the resources and structure of my learning plan very well. I left the class feeling very excited!
