Hi! I am Mengqian from China, a native Chinese (Mandarin) speaker. You can also call me by my English name Nicole. I was born and raised in Luoyang. I have a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology and I am getting my Master's degree in Business Management now. I have lived more than four years in Shenzhen for my Bachelor's and then moved to Lyon, then to Munich for my Master's. I really enjoy traveling, reading, watching series and films, playing puzzles, and having good conversations with old or new friends. As a long-time English learner from a kid and a German learner for the recent one year, I know how difficult it is to learn a new language, especially in a different language system compared with the mother tone.
I have some friends who are learning Chinese and I sometimes help them with their questions about the language. From this experience, I understand Chinese can be very confusing and easy to make mistakes sometimes.
I used to give physics tutor lessons to high school students. Although teaching a language is a new journey for me, I will try my best to prepare for every course and improve your language level while we are both enjoying the process :)내 강의 및 지도 스타일
I am very flexible in teaching and I believe the teaching materials and methods should be decided by personal preference, the level of language, and the reason why do you want to learn the language. So let´s talk about your level and goal first, then make a personalized plan for our courses :)
For beginners, we can start with basic but important knowledge of Mandarin, for example, the four main tones and one neutral tone. Then we can start to cover easy and daily vocabularies, with examples and exercises.
For intermediate level and higher, we can set up different topics with real-life materials before the course because it works better when you come with good preparation.내 수업 자료

I took a trial class with Mengqian where we chatted the whole time in Chinese. It was very fun to talk to her and improve my listening and speaking skills. Highly recommend for any students looking to practice their kouyu in a natural way.
