Hi! I'm Marion but feel free to call me Mai :)
Im from Germany and currently studying for my Master's degree.
Teaching a language has been my favorite part time job. I enjoy helping my students to improve and to see them getting better and more confident in a new language.
I love sharing german music, food, cities, tv shows, books or movies that I enjoy with my students and maybe get them too excited about these kinds of media and interests! :D지도 경험
As a community teacher, I'd like to keep our lessons rather relaxed and familiar without any pressure :)
It's important to me to figure out what works best for you and therefore adapting to your preferred way of learning, be it with pictures, music, short stories or something else

During my lessons I prefer to focus on talking to each other and answering your questions. I like to keep the atmosphere casual and relaxed but if you prefer we can also work more targeted on your goals.
My usual lesson looks like this:
some small talk about certain topics (A2: colors, animals, weather, countries; B1+: hobbies, movies/tv shows, …)
During our conversation I will write down anything of interest to you in a google docs that we can both access simultaneously (vocabulary, grammar explanations, homework, links, …) and afterwards you can access the google docs for your own review :)
With the google docs, we can also keep track of your progress and pick up right where we left off내 수업 자료

Marion is an excellent teacher, she prepares her lessons well, brings exercises designed to test you, and always gives proper corrections on grammar and expressions, while being very patient and enthusiastic. During the lesson, she also builds a document with expressions and vocabulary to practice, which is always very helpful, and she can also prepare homework if you wish. I can only recommend her to other students.

It was a great lesson again, i always get so nervous that i forget everything and can’t even form a sentence, but Marion is always smiling and willing to listen 😊 plus she always knows what to say to keep the conversation flowing, so if anyone is thinking about booking a lesson with her, then definitely do!😁

I can imporve my fluentcy during our discussion without pressure. Additionally the topics we've talked about is really interesting for me, arts, philosophy... great!
