italki - italki - 2024Many of my students have made amazing progress in their Japanese language skills. Now, they want to go beyond basic Japanese and learn Japanese that can be used in business situations. Furthermore, through my lessons, they have been able to reach the JLPT N2 level, which is essential in the business world. Many students are looking to find employment in Japan, so I'd like to use all of the skills and experience I've built up until now help them develop the necessary Japanese proficiency .
italki - italki - 2024I have been teaching grammar, listening, and reading on italki since 2021. I mainly use the textbooks "Genki" and "Minna no Nihongo" to help students acquire the basics of Japanese through essay corrections and instruction on correct Japanese expressions. Through my lessons, many students have become interested in and passed Japanese language exams such as the JLPT. I would like to use this experience to specialize in teaching exam subjects, such as JLPT preparation using test categories.
italki - italki - 2024After 4 years of professionally teaching Japanese children at 明光義塾 cram school, I started working as a private tutor in Japan. I have taught Japanese and English. I also gained a lot of experience on italki since 2021 over 2500 lessons. With my wealth of experience, I would love to support for children. My former students have grown up and have successfully landed great jobs in Japan.

なしI have been teaching Japanese as a community teacher on italki since 2021. My students range from teenagers to adults, and I have given a wide range of lessons from business to JLPT exams. I am still giving lessons in the same way, and as of August 2024, the total number of lessons is approaching 2,500.

학사 - 経済学I transferred from a business college to university in 1995 and majored in economics. I took the international relations course and learned business English. After graduating from university, I worked as a newspaper writer for four years and after that I worked as an university administrator, and since 2017 I have contributed to the education industry as a professional instructor of Japanese (essays, business, grammar, etc.) and English at a cram school and from my house.

Megumi-sensei is a wonderful teacher. She is kind and encouraging, and her lessons are always interesting and fun. Megumi provides the perfect amount of challenges to keep me motivated but also at ease, and I truly feel like I’m improving thanks to her guidance. She also shares her own Japan travelogues as part of the lesson materials, and these are especially interesting to read, since she highlights regional festivals and legends. I highly recommended Megumi-sensei for all levels of students!

Megumi-san has helped for some time now. In the beginning, I struggled with both speaking and writing and while I learned the rough strokes of many aspects of Japanese grammar, applying them naturally in the right context was difficult. Now, writing messages and diaries has become easy and I can definitely make myself understood. Hence, we have recently started working on my casual vocabulary to go beyond the content typically taught in language classes. This is really a lot of fun! Suddenly, nuances become a lot clearer and it feels like I can get another step closer to truly understanding Japanese language. Thanks, Megumi-san for being patient and encouraging!

Megumi's class is very interesting, as it not only allows you to understand the differences between Japanese culture and your own culture through dialogue, but also provides insights into the reasons for these differences. Her English is also excellent. For complex grammar and difficult vocabulary, Megumi explains by cross-referencing, which is very helpful for beginners. I took the JLPT-N2 in July this year and passed smoothly. I am very grateful for the opportunity to attend this class! My conversation, vocabulary, and grammar skills have all been strengthened. Thank you very much!
