Hi! I’m Wendy, a native Mandarin speaker from Taiwan.
I’m friendly, patient, and easy to talk to — that’s what my students and friends often tell me!
My goal is to help you feel confident and comfortable when speaking Mandarin. Whether you're a complete beginner or already have some experience, I’ll guide you step by step.

Learning a ton of new vocab and ways to phrase things in Mandarin that would be really difficult to look up myself. Especially some Taiwan-specific terms that differ from those in China. Wendy's also a great person to talk with about life/culture in Taiwan if you're interested in that.

Wendy is a great teacher, able to meet me where I'm at in my Chinese learning journey. She has presentations prepared on grammar and vocabulary that are important to me and my learning goals (travel). I appreciate how organized she is and that she makes a list of key words I can refer to later. She's patient with my pronunciation and very encouraging. As a beginner in Chinese, I rely on her English explanations, which are perfect. I highly recommend her if you're thinking about finding a teacher.
