Hi, I'm Jing, I'm currently living in Shenzhen, China. I used to work as a Chinese-English translator in Cyprus for 2 years, and did a 1 year volunteer work in the UK. I have a postgraduate diploma in specialized translation at KU Leuven in Belgium. The experiences I gained from living and working abroad give me advantage in helping you with Chinese as I understand the difficulties in between learning and utilize another language. Besides, I'm rather calm and openminded, we can discuss various topics together.
你好呀！我来自中国，目前住在深圳。大学毕业后我曾经在三个欧洲国家工作和学习，包括英国、塞浦路斯和比利时，并在比利时鲁汶大学取得翻译技术研究生学位。在不同国家的生活经验帮助我更好的理解不同文化。我很喜欢学习语言，也因此我了解语言学习中可能会遇到的难点，希望能对你的中文学习有所助益。
As a native speaker (Level 1 Grade B of Mandarin Level Test), I will be able to help with your pronunciation and grammar through conversations. In my opinion, the best way to master a language is to use it.
我认为掌握一门语言最好的方法就是使用它，作为中文母语使用者（普通话等级：一级乙等），通过我们的对话练习，我能在语音和语法上帮助你提高中文水平。
Chinese, in my point of view, is rather simple in terms of grammar (compare to most European languages) yet difficult in mastering the characters. Thus I personally believe speaking could be relatively easier to achieve. My classes focus on speaking. Most of the time we will do conversations, I can prepare the topics and you are also welcomed to send me any subjects you are interested in before the class so I could adapt to your needs. If you are interested in Chinese characters, I can provide an introduction for you to have a basic idea about it.
