Yu is a brilliant teacher. She is very easy to talk with and does fun act outs to contextualise ideas. She is very supportive but also not afraid to correct your errors. She is always prepared and creates a relaxed environment for conversation. I cannot recommend her classes enough.

This was my first italki lesson with Yu and I enjoyed it so much! Yu is a very well prepared teacher and it’s fun to practice new vocabulary and conversation with her. Already looking forward to having more lessons with Yu! I can recommend her to everyone who wants to learn and improve Japanese:)

Yu Sensei was super friendly, talkative, encouraging and a pleasure to speak Japanese with. I really enjoyed discussing how the coronavirus has changed our lives, experiences traveling abroad, and life in general. I look forward to practicing speaking Japanese with her again.
