Hi, I'm Natsu, a native Japanese speaker from Kanagawa, Japan. I'm 36 years old and currently living in Texas. I've been learning English and Spanish for many years, so I truly understand the difficulties of learning a foreign language.
I enjoy traveling, walking, watching movies and anime, reading manga, and doing creative activities like writing, painting, and handicrafts.
I'm a friendly and easy-going teacher, and I hope you feel relaxed and enjoy learning Japanese at your own pace with me.지도 경험
I've been teaching Japanese online for five years. I also take language classes on the italki platform as a student, and that experience has been helping me improve my teaching skills a lot. One of the most important things for me as a teacher is understanding my students' feelings.
In my classes, I believe that learning the basics is important, but I also think it’s essential to understand Japanese culture. I value giving students opportunities to discover and experience things that are not always found in textbooks. 내 강의 및 지도 스타일
My teaching style is casual, interactive, and balanced.
The flow of my lessons usually follows these steps, although it can vary depending on the student and the course:
1. Warm-up
2. Main lesson
3. Practice
I also adjust lessons based on each student’s needs, interests, and goals. By observing their strengths and weaknesses, I may add extra practice or skip certain parts to make the lesson as effective and enjoyable as possible. I have been studying with Nat for months, and can‘t recommend her enough. She is very patient and gives creative, easy to understand explanations for words or expressions I dont understand yet. She makes it easy to carry a conversation and is always pleasant and kind. I also like that she has been slowly increasing the difficulty of the material we use according to my level - that has been immensly useful for the development of my japanese skills. I hop to continue studying with her for a long time!

Nat is the best teacher I have had. She sets goals for the lesson and explains things so well. We have our class in Japanese but if I don’t know a word in Japanese she is always able to help me with English. Always learning so much ☺️
