Hi, I’m Razieh (Roza) a PhD linguist, university lecturer, and Persian examiner with over 18 years of experience teaching Persian to learners worldwide.
I make Persian simple, structured, and enjoyable using modern, research-based methods. My lessons are interactive and tailored to your goals, with a strong focus on real communication from day one. Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to advance your skills, I will help you learn Persian in a clear, engaging, and stress-free way.
I lecture at universities and colleges, teaching both English and Persian to non-Persian speakers. I hold a BA in English Translation, as well as an MA and PhD in Linguistics, all awarded with distinction. Teaching is not just my profession. It is a core part of who I am.
As a native Persian speaker, I teach all levels (beginner to advanced) and design each lesson based on your individual needs, whether for conversation, travel, academic purposes, or exams.
My teaching style is supportive, dynamic, and motivating. I use a wide range of materials, including stories, poetry, videos, and real-life scenarios, to keep lessons fresh and engaging while ensuring steady progress. By integrating books, films, and digital tools, I create a rich and memorable learning experience.

I had a perfect lesson with Roza! We introduced ourselves, I told her my reasons for learning Persian, and she helped me remember what I had learned previously in Persian. Roza was enthusiastic, good-natured, and well-prepared. I cannot imagine a better introductory lesson!

I really enjoyed my lesson with Roza. She was so flexible and quickly and accurately assessed my level and adapted her lesson to my needs. I really need a lot of practice with my listening skills so she patiently went over a video of a gentleman speaking slightly above my level with was ideal! I am so impressed with the fact that she knows how to do that. She spoke a lot of Farsi to me but switched to English when I needed it the most. Her classroom atmosphere was just as she promised; relaxed and without anxiety yet challenging and fun. She has a natural way of putting me at ease. I am very grateful to have found such a gem!
