Hello, I'm Michael and I am an English Teacher from London, UK. I am a native English speaker with experience in business.
When I'm not teaching, I produce music in my music studio in London. I've been collecting vinyl records for many years and I have operated and run my own record label. PC gaming is something I enjoy when possible, with some of my favourites being The Witcher series, Guild Wars 2 and Undertale. I enjoy socialising with friends, going to music events and cooking.
I am TEFL qualified. I do not offer IELTS specific exam training.

What you can expect from a class with me is a relaxed, friendly and judgement-free environment for you to feel comfortable. I'm here to help you so creating a nice environment for you to learn in is key. My tailored, one-to-one tuition will focus on your needs as a student.
If there are areas you would like to improve such as listening, reading, writing, grammar or speaking and general conversation practice, I am here for you. I love to teach more specalised English, things that are very common in the UK but harder for non-native speakers, such as phrasal verbs and articles. After an initial conversation, I will create lessons based on your needs as a student. For instance, if you would like to improve your fluency when speaking, I will create lessons that can focus your improvement in that area. I always listen to what my student needs, however, if I think you could use some assistance in other areas of English language learning, I will suggest other tasks to you and explain what the benefits will be.
My teaching style is one of guidance, advising you on how we can proceed with your education while lifting your confidence and helping you improve. I want to equip you with knowledge, new ways of thinking and boost your confidence while you learn English!내 수업 자료

Michael is a very patient and friendly teacher. He’s always supportive – he can easily spot the areas where you have difficulties, but also highlights your strengths, which is very encouraging. He speaks with a beautiful British English pronunciation and adjusts his speaking speed to the student, so he’s easy to understand. During the lessons, we discuss interesting topics and do practical exercises that keep me actively involved and never bored.

I highly recommend this teacher. He's a great explainer and has very clear pronunciation. Michael is very patient and has a great sense of humor.

Michael is very patient and thoughtful, he confirmed the details again and again before the lesson. And can you imagine we have talked 1 hour and 40 minutes, he gave me useful advices on job interview which encourages me a lot. Thank you, look forward to the next lesson!

Michael is a great teacher! He listens to the student. He really wants to helps her students learn English; he corrects your mistake after you speak. He proposed many activities and he knows how to do it. The lesson is very interesting and useful.

Dios mio, Michael! I am so happy that I found you here on ITALKI. Our "lessons" are exactly what I need, pure fun, laughter and enjoyment. Although I am so much older, I think that the "ancient bear" that we all should worship is dozing somewhere in our both souls. I am looking forward to our next conversations. Perhaps I am already writing on my book then.. ;-)
