Hi there! My name is Kurtis and I'm from the UK. I am a TEFL certified tutor with a degree in Linguistics & Phonetics. I have lots of experience with teaching English, as well as working on pronunciation, where my degree subject definitely helps!

I always like to make lessons feel fun and casual because I know how it feels to be a student of another language! I will always help you as best as I can and I am happy to change lessons so that they best fit your learning style, and help you in the best way possible.

I know that learning and speaking English can be scary for some students, which is why I like to take a more relaxed approach and make it conversation-like where it is possible. Kurtis is a great teacher, always patient and encouraging. When I meet with problems, he always answers for me patiently. He often shares some interesting videos and articles and discusses with me in class, so every class is never boring. As I took more and more classes, I became more and more confident. Now I don't feel nervous communicating with other native speakers! I highly recommend taking Kurtis's class.

Kurtis is very dedicated and gentle. He listens carefully to students' needs and takes notes during class. On the first day,he also gave a detailed introduction about his teaching methods, which made me feel very comfortable and well-prepared for the class.

He is calm but enthusiastic at the same time.
Also a friendly and patient, professional teacher!
When difficult to understand vocabulary appears in general English class, there is a system in place to review it properly after the lesson. I like that because it allows me to make sure I've got it right. Highly recommend Kurtis's class!
