Jie

Great lesson with Jie! Jie told me about a recent vacation that she had. Jie showed me pictures of the places and things she saw (and ate). We talked a lot about tea, and Jie showed me all kinds of tea pots, cups and things. It was really interesting to hear all about tea...and Jie laughed when I told her that I use tea bags. Jie has a fun sense of humor!

Fun lesson with Jie! We talked about many different things - the lunar new year and traditions, saving money, Jie's parents and other topics. Jie's stories are entertaining and usually quite funny. I get a lot out of lessons with Jie!

Fun lesson with Jie! We talked about various types of food and traditions that Chinese people have for the Chinese New Year. Jie showed me pictures of some of those foods. We both talked about our families and some of the different personalities that people have. Lessons with Jie are really improving my listening comprehension. Jie speaks at full speed in our lesson and only rarely uses English, which makes me understand faster and better!

Great lesson with Jie! We talked about the Lunar New Year, and Jie told me about many of the things she did. Jie also told me about all sorts of different food specialties that people like to eat around this time. Jie always has interesting things to talk about, which often involves food!

Great conversation with Jie! We talked about a lot of things, including fishtanks, fireworks, homework, coffee, alcohol and AI. Jie is good to talk to and she has a good sense of humor that makes lessons fun!

Great lesson with Jie! We talked about several things - including the snow and cold, the Chinese zodiac, the differences between Northern China and Southern China. Jie also told me about some history - the Silk Road, Yellow River, etc. I learned a lot, and the discussion flowed very naturally!
